Dear listener,
When Databloem asked me to fill a five CD boxset i knew i had to come up with something good, something fresh and original.
As Lingua Lustra has different sides a five chapter opus is a great opportunity to show different aspects of my work.
So here we are, i've created a journey through a broad palette of styles, including Drone, Leftfield Electronica, Berlin School, Ambient Techno and Ambient.
Different audiences are served here as these chapters can be listened to as a continuous trip or, alternatively, be listened as style-centered segments.

A few words about the pieces.
CD1 contains just one 53 minutes track called 'Where All Waters Meet', i remember sitting on a train station after completing it, waiting for the next train and being completely immersed in this aqueous atmosphere, i believe also music sometimes has a magical resonant quality to it, a resonance of the aura if you will, bringing to mind Basho's haiku 'The temple bell stops but the sound keeps coming out of the flowers.'
On CD2 the journey continues with six rhythmical Leftfield tracks, having their own mind, infused with ambience and unusual mixing techniques and closing off with a Berlin School type piece raising from stillness to whirling excitation and back.
CD3 brings two long-form Ambient Techno tracks, first being in earthy atmospheric territory then moving into the higher octaves of sound yet anchored by a pulsating beat.
On CD4 more long-form pleasure, this time with an almost inaudibe trance like rhythm, then moving into pure ambience. CD5, the last chapter starts off with some moody dark ambient morphing into Berlin School-esque sound and ending with a meditative ambient piece called 'Deep Harmony'. So, whether listening a segment or taking the full trip i wish you some good listening enjoyment, may your path be aglow.
